Singapore with Kids

Admit it. It isn’t easy to travel with kids! But if you know how to entertain your little one, the trip will be an amazing experience for all of you.

We initially planned and booked to cover 3 countries (Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia) in 16 days with our kid who is one and half years old. The first two days in Singapore, we were trying to cover all the places that were on our list. We went at 11 in the morning and came back by 11.30pm. On our second day, we realized we are not doing it the right way. We were in a hurry to see all the places that we were not actually enjoying the trip!  We made a decision that day that changed the way we explored these countries.

The rule was to see only what we can. There isn’t a point in seeing everything and not enjoying those moments! Rather than following our travel plan, we went as per her wish.  We spent more time in one place. By doing that we were able to see places and experience things which were not in our list. We clicked some amazing pictures too.

The second decision was to cancel the Thailand ticket and extend our stay in Singapore.   We extended and stayed for 10 days. This way we were able to see almost all the popular places in Singapore (except for Universal Studio which we thought will be difficult to enjoy with little ones.) Though we were not able to see Thailand, we really enjoyed our stay in Singapore. It was truly a memorable trip.

So, here goes her favourite places in Singapore:

    1. Hey Citra, Thanks a lot! Singapore is really an amazing place for kids. When she grow up, i wud like to come back again to see Universal Studio. Hope Carla and Renan are doing good. Have you gone to Universal studio with them?

      1. We’ve been to Universal Studios when Carla was 2… Couldn’t do anything since Carla was too small for most rides, and I was pregnant…. Should go there again when the kids are bigger…..
